Putting the ‘sport’ in transport
Alltruck take pride in supporting our local communities and as part of this we are delighted to sponsor two sports teams in Sleaford and Nottingham, to coincide with the opening of our new depots. In Sleaford, we have sponsored Chestnut Street Primary School football team and in Nottingham we have sponsored Sherwood Barbarians U17s RFC.
We’re going to use the blog to follow the progress of our teams throughout the season, starting off with Sherwood Barbarians who played this weekend.
Here is the match review from our pitch-side correspondent…
“Sherwood Barbarians U17 RFC played Melbroune RFC in their last warm-up game before the season starts proper next week.
Melbourne were much improved from our last meeting, showing great determination and aggression. Sherwood – a new team following the merging of Mellish and Southwell – showed some great promise and held in there, eventually winning 12-10.
Good luck to both teams in the NLD this season.”
